Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2023 is well underway, and in Atlantic City, the casino industry is focused on raising awareness, resources and support in the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the month of October, Atlantic City casinos are hosting fundraising events and activities, participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Walk and the Men Wear Pink campaign, all in support of breast cancer awareness and research.

“Breast cancer impacts so many lives and families here in New Jersey. By bringing awareness through various events and activities this month, the casino industry is helping to support and make a difference for communities they serve,” said Christina M. Renna, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey.

Mark Giannantonio, President of the Casino Association of New Jersey, said, “This is a disease that impacts all of us, from all walks of life, and it’s critically important that we do our part to raise awareness and encourage people to donate and take action. We are honored to once again partner with local and national cancer prevention organizations to fight against breast cancer.”

Here’s what’s happening across the properties this month:

Bally’s Atlantic City
Bally’s is offering pink cocktails, mocktails, and desserts at The Yard, Carousel Bar, Guy Fieri’s Chophouse and Jerry Longo’s Meatballs & Martinis during the month of October, with a portion of all sales benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness. The Pacific Avenue entrance to Bally’s Atlantic City and Level Six dining is illuminated in pink also in support of breast cancer awareness. Plus, we have gone Pink with our table felts on select games in the casino.

Caesars Entertainment – Atlantic City Resorts
Tropicana, Caesars, and Harrah’s Resort have been “going pink,” with pink lights on each property’s exteriors. Each resort is also participating in the “Men Wear Pink” campaign, which involves male community leaders around the nation using the power of pink to raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society. Select drink sales at each resort will support the fundraising effort.

Golden Nugget Atlantic City
Golden Nugget is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with members of their executive team wearing pink. They’re also featuring a property-wide Pink Drink, with a portion of the proceeds being donated back to American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City
Hard Rock Atlantic City is hosting Pinktober events, offering special food and beverage items and making available limited-edition merchandise with portions of the proceeds benefiting charities that support breast cancer awareness and research. Hard Rock Atlantic City and Atlantic Medical Imaging are hosting the Dr. Jan Austin Mobile Digital Mammography Van for team members to obtain breast cancer screenings conveniently at the Hard Rock. This offering to team members can help to promote early detection with convenient and easy access to screenings.

Ocean Casino Resort
Ocean Casino Resort is donating a portion of their sales from a special pink cocktail, as well as the proceeds from a cookie sale, to the American Cancer Society. The Ocean LED ball on top of the building is illuminated with a pink ribbon throughout the month of October in support of breast cancer awareness.

Resorts Casino Hotel
The Resorts Men of Gaming are raising money for the Men Wear Pink Campaign. Proceeds from the Perfect Pink Cosmo will benefit the campaign and donations will be accepted throughout the month. In addition to fundraising efforts, Resorts exterior lights are lit pink for the month of October to show support for breast cancer awareness.
