“The power of networking came full circle to me at a recent joint mixer between The Atlantic City and Cape May County Chambers of Commerce. AC Chamber of Commerce VP Mike Chait went out of his way to introduce me to the President of the Cape May Chamber, who noticed I was wearing my company “Servpro” shirt. He in turn introduced me to their local Servpro Franchise Owner in Cape May, and we have since exchanged several leads for each other in our territories, culminating with two successful jobs and new customers. The power of networking and putting yourself in the right group of people was in full force that night. My calendar is marked for the next Atlantic City Chamber event. I’m now completely on board. I encourage all local businesses to do the same.”

“Being a small business we rely on word of mouth for much of our marketing. When we first started our business we didn’t think being a member of the Chamber of Commerce would have any great impact on our business. Boy, were we wrong! After joining a little more than a year ago we have seen our business boom. We were also recently recognized by the Chamber for an Excellence in Small Business award. What an honor it was to receive this award and we were very humbled. For all the other small businesses out there, you won’t regret joining the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce!”

“I have been a member of Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce as a private company and as a public entity member. I see the benefits of having such a strong chamber on both sides of the work I do in our community. From a private consultants firm point of view, the Chamber not only assists with networking but is an advocate for local and state policies that help the small business owner. Typically, a small business owner only has one voice with which to voice a concern, with the Chamber’s assistance, that voice is expanded exponentially. The ideal example of this was the “No North Jersey Casino’s” campaign. Joe Kelly and the team at GACC spoke at any venue possible and took the argument to the State Legislature. The Bill was defeated, in my opinion thanks to the efforts of the Chamber.
From a public entity, such as my position with the CRDA, I see the ability of the Chamber to reach out to our offices and look to solve local issues. Whether it’s a zoning and land use matter that needs assistance with our regulations or a change to how applications and the development process works, the Chamber has been an advocate for what’s best for our community. The support we received during our Master Plan and Land Use regulation process was on point and very helpful.
If you are a business owner or an interested resident of our community, I would recommend not just joining the Chamber but become an active member.”

“We have been AC Chamber Members for over 20 years. Although we are a Burlington County based company, the results we get from the networking and publicity is terrific. It helps show to Atlantic County businesses, that you are serious about doing business and care about their community.”
-Michael A. Santori, Quality Concepts, Inc.
“The Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce has fostered my growth as a member of the community and business professional. The valuable information, marketing, economic research data, & advocacy provides me with an abundance of advantages & opportunities that has helped me to be successful in the market place. I am never alone being a member of the chamber as we all work together to improve growth & employment in Atlantic County.”
-Rosemary Kelly, Century 21 Frick Realtors
“There are many reasons that businesses should consider being members of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce. The Press of Atlantic City is a member and has been for many years. Why do we continue to be members? We do so because we find value in many of the programs that they offer. For us, their networking sessions, Governmental Advocacy work, events and local workshops are all things that are important to us and important to all in our community. The Press has also had a Board seat on the Chamber Board for many years. As a Board member I would venture to guess that most small businesses who haven’t been active in our local Chamber would be surprised as well as impressed to learn all that the Chamber is doing and has done to help local businesses survive and grow. Today, business owners have to see value in everything that they do. From our perspective, the Chamber provides substantial value for our investment. Although it’s sometimes difficult to specifically measure, once you get involved, it will become evident. I would advocate that you either continue your membership in our Chamber or, if you’re not already a member, become one and see first-hand how it can help you and your business survive and grow!”

“I just wanted to drop you a note to say I attended another excellent event organized by the chamber. I truly feel that we get better each time we put an event together. Victor and Joe your leadership has continued to move the needle everyday. We are better today than yesterday, and I am confident we will be better tomorrow than we are today.
They say a rolling stone gathers no moss, I say a forward moving Chamber with never go away … I am proud to be part of this organization.”
-Charles Wimberg, Atlantic City Electric
“Upon joining the Chamber I met with key members of the staff to educate them on what our company has to offer as well as be educated on how the chamber can help us grow our business.
Every event has been a success for me in landing a presentation, a tour of our facility or simply telling someone what Shore Crucial Care has to offer the community.
The return on our investment is immeasurable!”
