Almost 200 small New Jersey businesses came to the Atlantic City Convention Center this week in the hope of landing lucrative contracts with the rapidly growing offshore wind industry.

The International Offshore Wind Partnering Forum, the industry’s biggest trade show, drew local companies whose services included technology security, welding equipment, logistics, epoxy manufacturing and environmental consulting.

All hope to take a small piece of a giant economic pie being created by three wind farms planned to be built off the Jersey Shore, and the onshore manufacturing and assembly ports that will serve the industry. Read More from NJ Spotlight News.
