[list type=”ul” style=”5″]Customers should assemble an emergency storm kit containing essential items including non-perishable foods, bottled water, first-aid kit, prescription medications and special medical or infant supplies.^Make sure cell phones are charged prior to a storm.^Protect and unplug electronic equipment.^Follow the advice of local emergency management officials.^Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using a portable generator and use only when necessary.^If you or someone you know relies on life-support equipment that requires electricity to operate, identify a location with emergency power capabilities and make plans to go there during a prolonged outage.[/list]
