The Atlantic City Free Public Library has created a new club – the AC Research Club – for history buffs in Atlantic City and beyond. The club meets twice a month at the Main Library.

Topics include exploring the library archives, creating a family tree, searching for historical information for free, learning how to scan family photos and documents, creating a digital repository, utilizing ancestry.com and more. Library archivist Jacqueline Silver-Morillo leads the club.

The club meetings begin at 2 p.m. The January and February meetings are scheduled for Jan. 12 and 26, and Feb. 9 and 23.
