The Greater Atlantic City Chamber hosted “Navigating A Changing HealthCare Environment: What Employers Need To Know,” a healthcare forum Wednesday, December 9 at Tropicana Casino & Resort in collaboration with AtlantiCare, a member of Geisinger Health System. Cathleen D. Bennett, acting commissioner, New Jersey Department of Health, gave a keynote presentation about the changing healthcare landscape.
Steve Blumberg, senior vice president and executive director, AtlantiCare Health Solutions, gave an overview of key issues in population health, including the importance of bringing value to the purchasers of healthcare. He also discussed AtlantiCare’s population health work and relationship with Geisinger.
A panel discussion focused on how healthcare reform has changed the way businesses and industries think about employee health. Panelists included:
