The South Jersey Transportation Authority will be holding its 100 Days of Summer event on Friday, May 24 (they do this every year).  In 2023, they had over 40 businesses, vendors and crafters participate.  Most impressive, an estimated 5,000 people stopped by to partake in the festivities at the Farley Service Plaza at mile marker 21.3 on the Atlantic City Expressway.  And this year, they expect even more!

There will be food trucks, giveaways, and an extremely popular car show.  The Funny Farm Rescue Sanctuary of Mays Landing will also be bringing their petting zoo for kids to see and hold animals “up close and personal.”  And a live broadcast by WIP Sports Radio will entice many listeners to stop and visit their favorite radio personality and talk a little sports.  There’s truly something for everyone – adults and children alike.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

And… Chickie’s and Pete’s sports bar (did I say free crab fries!) joins in the celebration by picking up the tolls for every vehicle that travels eastbound through the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

See this event flyer to get a better idea of the event.  And if you’d like to participate, they even provide the table and chairs at no charge!

Every partner of the GACC who wants to reach new customers should give this event a try…
