The Greater Atlantic City Chamber, Cape May County Chamber of Commerce and the Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board presented an educational forum this morning to introduce local businesses to the state and federal funding that is available to help them hire, train and retain qualified workers.
Economic Outlook
Dr. Richard Perniciaro of Atlantic Cape Community College provided the keynote presentation regarding the state of this region’s economy.
Incentives & Grants
Attendees were told how they could potentially qualify for $4,000 – $10,000 wage reimbursement among other tax credits and training grants.
Recruitment Services
The businesses in this region were encouraged to take advantage of WIB job listing services, applicant pre-screening, helpful interview services and other business resources.
The program concluded with WIB testimonials from local businesses including Borgata and AC Linen.
